This blog shall make indexing your site or blog into google very easy and faster. All you need to do is follow the steps below.

HOW TO GO TO YOUR DASHBOARD

You can open your blogger dashboard by

1. Using www.blogspot.com

Just type www.blogspot.com in the address bar of your browser then log in using your email address and your password

2. Using your email to get to blogger

When you have logged in to your Gmail account, just go to apps and select blogger.

NOW LET’S TALK ABOUT GETTING YOUR BLOG APPEAR IN GOOGLE SEARCH

For clarity of procedures, i have taken my time to break the whole procedure down into smaller forms to aid easy understanding. this blog is divided into two parts.

A. The first is about adding a sitemap to your blog

B. And the second part is all about submitting your sitemap to google webmaster tools.

How can your blog appear in google search?

It is very simple. Don’t worry about the number of steps. It is very easy to follow.

PART ONE (1)

1. Open your blogger account and select the blog you want to appear in google search. Click on it as indicated below

2. After the click, the blogger edit interface will appear. You will see the options on the left hand side of the page.

Locate and click on settings

3 3 . A drop down options will appear

Go ahead and click on search preferences

4. Options under the search preferences will display on the right side

Within these options is crawlers and indexing

Under the crawlers and indexing there is an option called custom robots txt.

By default it is disabled. Click on edit

5. A drop down option will appear asking Enable custom robots txt content? Click on yes

6. 6. Then a blank space will appear.

7. Copy and paste the code below to the blank space

User-agent: *

Disallow: /search

Allow: /

Sitemap: http://bernexpres.blogspot.in/atom.xml?redirect=false&start-index=1&max-results=500

Note: you need to change the part of the sitemap appearing in red with your address. For instance, If your address is www.allabtgod.blogspot.com then allabtgod.blogspot must be used instead of bernexpres.blogspot.

8. Click save changes after pasting it

THEN WE MOVE ON TO THE SECOND AND FINAL PART

That is all about submitting your sitemap to google webmaster tools.

It is very easy.

1. 1. Just visit https://www.google.com/webmasters/tools/

2. After you log in, you will see add property on the top left side if the page. Click on it

3. An add property option will pop up. Key in your blog address ( i.e. www.greatmn1.blogspot.com) and click on add

4. A verification option will show. Don’t be bothered at all. Google sites and blogs are automatically verified so skip this level.

5. Click on your blog and your dashboard will show

6. Look through the options and you will find crawl. Click on it.

7. Select Sitemaps

8. You will see ADD/TEST SITEMAP

Click on it and a drop down option will show

Just copy the sitemap code below;

atom.xml?redirect=false&start-index=1&max-results=500

9. 9. Paste the code for the sitemap
atom.xml?redirect=false&start-index=1&max-results=500

10. Finally, click on submit. Then it is all done. From about 24 hrs from now your blog will show up on google search.
